Public pilot terms

Free pilot
Posting jobs and tradie access are free during this pilot. No subscriptions, lead fees or commissions are currently collected. The planned tradie subscription is NZ$99/month including GST; paid checkout is not active. Any future paid plan will be clearly offered and require your agreement before charging. You must be 18 or older and have authority to post the work or represent the business.
What the marketplace does
Tradie On Demand helps homeowners and independent trade businesses find and contact each other. Availability and responses are not guaranteed. The operator does not perform, quote for, supervise or guarantee a tradie’s work through this marketplace.
Agree the work directly
Choose a tradie, check the scope and relevant credentials, and agree timing, price, payment terms and responsibilities directly before work begins. A response estimate is not automatically a final quote. Recording a quote or visit in the app does not create a booking confirmation, take payment, or send an automatic notification.
Profiles and verification
Businesses supply their own qualifications and experience. Profiles marked Not yet verified have not been independently checked by the pilot operator. Confirm appropriate current licences, insurance and registrations directly for the work you need. A profile or review is not a guarantee of suitability.
Keep information accurate and respectful
Post genuine jobs, provide accurate business details, respond only to suitable work, and write reviews about your actual completed job. Do not impersonate anyone, post unlawful content, spam users, publish private information, or use the pilot for scams. Up to three businesses can respond to a job. The operator may close reported jobs and restrict abusive requests.
Accounts and private links
Protect your password and private job link. Anyone with a private job link can manage that job. Account recovery is handled manually during the pilot through Support, with identity checks before assistance. Automatic password-reset emails are not enabled.
Support and disputes
Use Support to report problems, profiles or privacy issues. Requests are recorded for manual review, without instant replies. Raise work quality, price and payment disputes directly with the trade business first. The pilot does not hold funds or provide an escrow service.
Consumer rights and changes
Nothing in these terms removes rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable New Zealand law, including consumer rights where they apply. The pilot may be improved, paused or changed. Material changes to fees or these terms will be presented before they apply to future use.
